The FirstClass Client is the software that you'll use to connect to FRED, and to participate in your on-line course activity. For the fastest, most reliable FRED experience, you'll want to download the Client and install it on your computer.

You've probably discovered that you can login to your account directly from this website (via the Login button), but we encourage you to do your "FRED"ing through the Client.

Clients are available for both the Windows and Macintosh operating systems.

For Windows:

Version 9  
This is the latest installer for the Client Version 9.002, released in June '07 and customized for use at Mohawk. If you're running Vista, Win 2000 or XP, this is the best Client for you.

This Client was released in November '06 and customized for use at Mohawk.

Please note: This version represents a significant evolution for the Client, and long-term users of FRED will notice several changes to both the user interface and functionality.

Version 8: Active-X Plugin for Internet Explorer
Here's something brand new that we are just beginning to discover. If you are an Internet Explorer user, follow this link to download and install the Active-X plugin that provides a full FirstClass Client experience within your browser! After installation, look for the FirstClass application button on your Explorer's Standard toolbar.
